PRODUCER – COMPOSER – MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Throughout his prolific career he has produced films and TV series and music -based feature documentaries as well as having composed music for motion pictures, television, documentaries, Canadian news programs and award shows. He has also been the musical director of numerous live to broadcast events, and has directed studio sessions in countries around the world including Canada, the U.S.A., U.K., Germany, Italy, Russia, Austria and Slovakia. He has written and produced songs for notable artists Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Buffy Sainte-Marie and many others.
Some of Jack’s most notable feature film projects include composing for Mel Gibson’s Passion Of The Christ and for the feature film, The Lazarus Child, starring Andy Garcia and Angela Bassett, the documentary Prom Night in Mississippi featuring Morgan Freeman and Left Behind with Nicolas Cage. Recently, Jack produced two feature music documentaries. “Who the Bleep is Arthur Fogel?” on EPIX US and “The Poet of Havana” for HBO.
Jack has also produced over a dozen TV series and documentaries. He is most renowned for his children’s TV series, nanalan, Mr. Meaty and Weird Years, all of which had heavy rotation on Canadian and international television. His recent productions include “Good Witch” for Hallmark and now “Battle Dogs” for the Discovery Channel. Executive Producer Keith Neubert and Producer Jack Lenz are the first producers to produce a full-length Docu-Reality series in Afghanistan.
Following a successful career as a professional athlete, with NFL’s New York Jets, Keith has worked in front of the camera as talent for most major studios and television networks — and behind it as an award-winning director, writer, producer and CEO of a successful production company. Keith has developed and produced ground-breaking content, branded entertainment and delivered programming to the most respected media brands in the world including Discovery, National Geographic, HDNET, AXSTV, FX Network, WB and others.
In 2014, Keith’s production company was recognized as the very first U.S. media company to produce an internationally distributed television series with China. The award-winning series showcases unprecedented access through the Land of the Dragon, bridging the gap between East and West in an exchange of customs and cultures while unraveling answers to China’s enduring mysteries and untold spectacles.
Keith is an active advocate for animal welfare and wildlife conservation and was introduced to Pen many years ago by a soldier friend who’s service dog was rescued by Pen and later adopted after active duty.
